The MBA program is an academic program that focuses on management and marketing. It covers topics such as supply chain management, marketing, management principles, operations management and organizational behavior. Bain and Company, Citigroup, Deloitte, Facebook, Apple, Amazon and Accenture are some of the top MBA employers.MBA is one of the most popular degree programs in India as well as abroad. MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. Many BTech, BBA, BCom, BA, BSc and BCA graduates today choose to pursue an MBA after graduation, as most management-level roles in various industries and sectors require an MBA degree.
Admission is determined by clearing the MBA entrance exam followed by multiple rounds of personality assessment (Group Discussion or GD, Written Aptitude Test or WAT and Personal Interview or PI). To enroll in an MBA program, students generally must have a minimum undergraduate average of 50%. The three most popular MBA entrance exams are CAT, GMAT and XAT.
MBA graduates often have access to middle management jobs such as CFO, Product Manager, Strategy Manager, HR Manager, etc. MBA graduates can get jobs earning INR 8-30 lakhs per year.
